Hadbani Roh: [M] A Kuhaylan Roh [R] son, he is the pinnacle of our Gleannloch/McNair breeding program. Trained both English and Western, he has excelled in the Dressage ring at the FEI 5-year-old level, as well as at halter, and shows great promise at Cutting and Reining.

Kuhaylan Roh: [R] The honor-guard at Patrick Swayze’s funeral, Kuhaylan and Swayze had a special relationship, and in the last moments of the actor and dancer’s life, Roh was brought to Patrick’s bedside to say his final goodbyes, where he bowed by Patrick’s bedside. (Kuhaylan Roh is also featured in the video below.)
Tammen: [R] The great chestnut stallion owned by Patrick Swayze and Lisa Niemi; 2002 and 2005 Egyptian Event Leading Halter and Performance Sire; 2004 and 2006 Leading Performance Sire. A producer of fantastic get, especially mares (Tammen produced only 23 sons out of a foal crop of 86, one of which was Kuhaylan Roh), we chose Tammen as a model and source for our breeding program at Blue Jackal Arabians in 2010, and continue those lines now here at Silk Road Arabians, not because of the celebrity status of his owner, but because of how Patrick Swayze used that status to further the educational programs of the Arabian Horse Association, and most especially their programs for Youths. After all, the entire purpose of including real horses in model horse pedigrees is to educate: to ignite an undying interest in the real horses and the real breeds.
Abenhetep: [R] Appearing no less than four times in this pedigree, Abenhetep [R] was a regional halter winner and sire of other regional winners in halter and performance, as well as a paternal brother to National Champions in western pleasure and to National winners in English pleasure and at halter. His dam, *Omnia [R], was a 3/4 sister to National Champion Park and Native Costume and National Champion Sire *Sakr+++ [R].
*Morafic: [R] A Nazeer [R] son, Morafic was imported to Gleannloch Farms in 1965 as a nine-year-old. Prior to that, he was a source of national pride in Egypt, leaving behind 56 get at the time of his exportation, eleven of whom would also later be exported to the U.S. He went on to become one of the most influential sires in Arabian history, and certainly the most influential sire at Gleannloch, siring numerous National Champions and stamping future generations with his refined head and dark eyes via get who became influential sires in their own right, including The Egyptian Prince [R].
Salaa El Dine: [R] An Ansata Halim Shah [R] son, considered one of the most influential German Arabian sires of all time. Never shown, his owner, Dr. Hans J. Nagel, is famous for saying:
“Arabian horses in history were used for so many purposes; they grew up under desert conditions or even here in Europe, and a uniform standard of evaluation never existed. I think today we have one standard, called ‘Show’. And for many years now, many breeders have been selecting their Arabian horses for the show. But from the point of view of a breeder, show criteria cannot be the only criteria, and they are not my criteria. So I invite you to reflect on the standard you like and you are searching for. That means you must make your own choice and then breed very consistently to reach the goal.”
Dr. Hans J. Nagel

Inshirah Dahman: [M] A Tammenze [M] daughter, out of our Foundation-descended Mare, Inshirah Moniet Aydan [M], she is a four-time regional winner at halter for both breed and color. Bred Dahman Shahwan top and bottom, she is a Basilisk-descended mare. Most recently, she has been placed top 3 as a Senior Dam at IPABRA (Jan. 2022 monthly show).

Tammenze: [M] A Tammen Malakh son, he is “Swayze-bred” both top and bottom, by Egyptian Event Leading Halter and Performance Sire Tammen [R] and out of Zubbediya [R], daughter of many-times-performance-champion Almas Razal [R], a *Sakr+++ son. Tammenze has followed in his grandsire’s footsteps as a fantastic performance horse, earning two third place ribbons in English Pleasure, as well as finishing first and multiple times in the ribbons in Arabian Costume classes.

Tammen Malakh: [M] A direct Tammen [R] son, out of Abya [R], an Abenhetep [R] daughter; pure Hadban Enzahi in the tail-line. Sire of our multiple-halter-ribbon-winner and Foundation Mare, Inshirah Moniet Aydan [M], as well as our up-and-coming stud, Tammenhetep [M].
*Talal: [R] Bred by the Egyptian Agricultural Organization and imported to the U.S. in 1967 by Sara Loken, *Talal [R] raced twenty races in Egypt under the name “Johnny Boy”, earning four wins, two seconds, four thirds, and two fourths. 1969 Scottsdale Reserve Champion Stallion.
*Omnia: [R] Bred by the Egyptian Agricultural Organization, she was imported to the U.S. in 1968 by Douglas B. Marshall of Gleannloch Farms, Texas, and became one of their most influential Foundation Mares. Pure-in-the-tail-line Kuheilan, she was an Alaa El Din [R] daughter and a Nazeer [R] granddaughter.
*Alaa El Din: [R] A Nazeer [R] son, he was a successful race horse in Egypt, running a total of 6 races, out of which he won 1, placed 2nd in another, 3rd in another, and 4th in the rest. He was also the sire of several race-winners. He went on to also sire *Faleh [R], a Legion of Merit winner, as well as two-time National Champion in Native Costume who also competed in a 100-mile endurance race. Yet, like Tammen [R], perhaps Alaa El Din’s [R] greatest contributions to the Arabian world were his daughters, who have been described by the famous German Arabian Breeder, Dr. Nagel as “the most beautiful flowers of Egyptian Arabian horse breeding.”
Ansata Halim Shah: [R] Son of one of the world’s most influential Arabian sires, *Ansata Ibn Halima [R], and grandson of Nazeer [R], he was an international champion and sire of international champions and has been acclaimed as one of the most influential Egyptian Arabian sires to date, worldwide.

Inshirah Moniet Aydan: [M] A Tammen Malakh [M] daughter, out of our Foundation Mare, Inshirah Moniet [M], she was a four-time regional winner at halter for both breed and color. Pure Dahman Shahwan in the tail-line, she is Hadban Enzahi in her top-line via her sire.
Almas Razal: [R] Multiple performance champion and sire of a National winner in native costume regional winner in pleasure driving, as well as champions in halter, western pleasure, and country pleasure. Son of *Sakr+++ [R].
*Sakr+++: [R] An equine superstar imported from Egypt in1968 who won the honor of Grand Champion Stallion and Most Classic Arabian at the State Fair in Dallas, Texas in 1970. *Sakr+++ [R] was a *Morafic [R] grandson on his dam’s side, he holds the distinction of having gone unbeaten in Park Horse classes for a full year, and he also excelled in Native Costume.
Ruminaja Majed: [R] Sire of champions in halter, hunt pleasure, and show hack; full brother to U.S. Reserve National Champion Ruminaja Ali [R], likewise a sire of National Champions in halter and performance.
